International Children’s Day

What do children want for themselves?

They want adults to be available to them – to listen to them, talk to them, and spend time with them without rushing.

They need a stable home where they feel loved, understood, and free from anxiety.

They want their emotions (including difficult ones like anger or sadness) to be respected, and they themselves not to be judged by the prism of adult expectations.

They dream of being treated with the same seriousness as adults – without ridicule for children’s problems and with respect for their privacy.

They desire the opportunity to freely explore the world, play carefree, and have their own pet.

On their special day, June 1st, let’s wish them just that!
