Indonesian PhD Students in Szczecin

Indonesian PhD Students keep together. After a month of fasting during Ramadan, Indonesian PhD Students celebrated Eid al-Fitr together in Szczecin.

Ramadan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, marked by daily fasting from dawn to sunset, prayer, and spiritual reflection to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran.

Eid al-Fitr is a Muslim festival which celebrates the end of Ramadan. It is a long festival which lasts around four days.

Eid means ‘festival’ in Arabic, and Eid al-Fitr translates as ‘the festival of breaking the fast’.

Eid al-Fitr celebration of PhD Students was filled with joy, and on this occasion, everyone asked for and offered forgiveness to one another.
