PhD Student during ICISS 2026 Conference

PhD Student of Doctoral School, mgr Bahalwan Apriyansyah, had a great experience participating in the 13th International Conference on ICT for Smart Society (ICISS 2026), held in Bandung, West Java 26–28 August 2026.

And this is how he describes the event:

What made this conference especially meaningful, was the opportunity to be part of a joint international research collaboration involving researchers from BINUS University, Indonesia; Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia; Mapúa University, Philippines; and the University of Szczecin, Poland.
Different institutions, countries, and academic backgrounds but connected by the same goal: turning ideas into meaningful research.
Our collaboration resulted in four scientific papers presented at ICISS 2026, with the papers proceeding toward publication in the IEEE conference proceedings, indexed in Scopus.
Really grateful to be part of this collaborative journey. Beyond the publications, the most valuable part is the opportunity to exchange perspectives, learn from one another, and build research connections across countries.
Hopefully, this is just the beginning of more international collaborations to come.

Congratulations Riyan!
