Join US – Stay with US event
On October 17, 2023, we held another edition of the #Join US – Stay with US event. We had the pleasure of hosting an astrophysicist from Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, Dr. Michal Zajaček. The Czech astrophysicist, who is of Slovakian descent, works primarily on the topic of black holes, and this was the focus of his presentation. Doctoral students were able to learn the details of his latest discoveries in the subject of precisely black holes and their existence in the cosmos, as well as go on a kind of journey to the Center of the Galaxy. In addition, Dr. Michal Zajaček talked about space travel and the participation in it of people from the area of former Czechoslovakia.
