Our Doctoral Student mgr inż. Paulina Małkowska as Young Scientist of the Year

On 26. September the first after holiday break and very ceremonial meeting of the University of Szczecin Senate took place.

During the meeting our IVth year Doctoral Student mgr inż. Paulina Małkowska was congratulated and awarded for Young Scientists of the Year of University of Szczecin Award in Natural sciences and health sciences field. The award was presented by His Magnificence Rector of the University of Szczecin Professor Waldemar Tarczyński.

Mgr inż. Paulina Małkowska is carrying out her researches under the supervision of Marek Sawczuk, PhD, Assoc. Prof. in the Institute of Physical Culture Sciences. Her dissertation is titled “Expression of genes encoding pro- and anti- inflammatory cytokines and their respective proteins in response to a progressive test to exhaustion in trained athletes and untrained individuals.” Miss Paulina in her reaserches is concentrated on the analysis of inflammation in response to a single, intense physical exercise. What is more mgr inż. Paulina Małkowska takes very actively part in academic society of doctoral students SD’s life being the Chairman of Doctoral Students Council and member of Interdisciplinary Science Club of Doctoral School US. To our great Miss Paulina and to other genious awarded scientists that day, we send warm congratulations and wish further scientifical succcesses.
