Open Linguistic Debates of the 21st Century 5th Meeting

International Academic Conference under the Honorary Patronage of the Rector of the University of Szczecin

We are pleased to report that the 5th meeting of an international academic conference OPEN LINGUISTIC DEBATES OF THE 21ST CENTURY organised by the Institute of Linguistics (University of Szczecin), 

was represented by PhD Student from Doctoral School – Alice Keru (Linguistics). 

The title of her speech: Framing gender and environmental activism: a feminist linguistic analysis of Wangari Maathai and the GreenBelt Movement. 

As the conference title suggests, there were papers discussing current issues in linguistics, translation studies or language education studies seen from various research perspectives (including interdisciplinary research such as language-related brain studies) as well as presenting reports on the newest research tendencies and methods.
