PhD Student completes Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme in Doctoral Education

Mgr inz. Vignesh Karthikeyan Raghunathan, a PhD Student in Management and Quality Science, successfully completed the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Doctoral Education held from 29 June to 3 July 2026 in Lille, France, with an online session on 18 May 2026.
 
Organised by Université de Lille, France, in collaboration with the University of Valladolid and SGroup – Universities in Europe, the programme brought together doctoral candidates from across Europe to exchange ideas and explore innovative approaches to doctoral education.
 
The programme focused on five key themes:
 
  • Research & Society,
  • Sustainable Development and Responsible Research,
  • Funding and Opportunities for Doctoral Education,
  • Artificial Intelligence,
  • Open Science.
 
Through lectures, workshops, round-table discussions, and networking activities, participants had the opportunity to engage with current challenges and opportunities in doctoral training at the European level.
 
Alongside the academic sessions, the mobility week included cultural and networking activities in Lille, providing a valuable space for international exchange and collaboration.
The experience offered insights that will support Vignesh’s academic development and research journey, while strengthening connections within the wider European doctoral community.
His participation reflects the University of Szczecin’s commitment to supporting international mobility, research excellence, and active participation in European academic networks.
