PhD students and Doctoral School US awarded in PRODOK competition
We proudly announce that Doctoral School has been awarded in prestigious competition PRODOK 2024 organized annually by The Doctoral Students National Represenatives. This unit distinguishes best doctoral schools and initiatives, supporting development of young scientists. During the final gala in Poznan, PhD students of Doctoral School US achieved many awards.
Most spectacular prize, we are especially proud of is:
The first place in the category of Dynamic Start with the project “Begin with a vision, end with implementation – dynamic start of new activities of PhD Students Zachodniopomorskie Alliance”.
And first place in the category “Event” with the initiative “Speed dating of young scientists”.
Additionally Doctoral School University of Szczecin achieved:
The third place in the category “The best ProDOK school in Poland”
and third place in the category “Open to the world” with the project “Mobility of PhD students of Doctoral students US and learning process in English”.
In spite of the high competition level our PhD students were the ones who receive awards in both two categories. The awards during the gala claimed: dr Artur Labuz – the head of PhD Students Zachodniopomorskie Alliance and mgr Aleksandra Wendorf – vice-head of PhD Students Zachodniopomorskie Alliance. These awards constitute a great success of PhD students of Doctoral School US and are proof of instant developing of a strong unit for young scientists in the University of Szczecin. Our PhD students were congratulated by His Magnificence Rector of the University of Szczecin, Professor Waldemar Tarczyński.
