Research Visit to the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia)

On July 13, 2026, during a visit to the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, a meeting was held to establish and strengthen international relations.

 

Discussions focused on joint research and potential collaboration under the Erasmus+ program.

 

The meeting was attended by the following researchers: Sebastian Matysik, M.A. (PhD Student at the Doctoral School, Assistant at the University of Szczecin’s Institute of Management) and Paweł Frankowski, PhD, Eng (Assistant Professor at the Szczecin Maritime University).

 

On the host side, key representatives of the Indonesian university’s administration participated in the discussions:

 

* Imam Baihaqi, PhD – Vice Rector of Human Resources, Organization, and Information System Technology ITS,

* Berto Mulia Wibawa, PhD – Associate Professor, Head of Department of Business Management ITS.

 

Puti Sinansari, PhD. a Graduate of the Doctoral School and currently a lecturer in the Department of Business Management at ITS played an extremely important role in organizing this meeting and served as the main coordinator of the visit.

 

The discussions held open up new perspectives for researchers from both countries and represent an important step toward building lasting international academic relationships.
