Doctoral School is proud to announce that the SGroup Think Tank for Doctoral Education has qualified three of PhD Students to 2025 edition of the SGroup PhD Cup!

What is the SGroup PhD Cup?
This initiative is designed to enhance PhD candidates’ communication skills through a competition based on the 3-Minute Thesis pitch model. Participants will benefit from a fully funded online training on rhetoric and research communication.
The PhD Cup consists of:
- An online training phase, where PhD students will receive expert coaching in research communication;
- A video submission round, where participants will compete by presenting their research concisely and the top 10 will be selected;
- A live final in Szeged, Hungary, where the top five finalists will be funded by their own institution to present their pitch before the SGroup General Assembly;
- The winner will receive a PhD Mobility Grant of up to €1,000 awarded by SGroup to support research abroad at an institution of their choice.
