Two grants for PhD student Olga Sierawska
On September 1-4, PhD student Olga Sierawska, pursuing her dissertation under the supervision of Professor Marek Sawczuk (Institute of Physical Culture Sciences), participated in the 7th European Congress of Immunology (ECI) in Dublin and the yEFIS 2nd Symposium: “Conquering early career challenges as young immunologists,” Her participation was funded by the EFIS Gender & Diversity TaskForce Grant and EFIS-ACTERIA Travel Grant. During the conference she presented a poster with the results of her original research “Changes in levels of leptin, adiponectin, chemerin and resistin in response to treadmill VO2 max test in highly trained athletes and non-trained individuals”.
