Tandem Meeting at the cinema
Dear PhD Students,
great news for those who’d like to see what us Poles argue about – and we argue about adaptations of our great 19th-century novel,
Bolesław Prus’s 'The Doll’ (’Lalka’).
Now you may watch the cinema adaptation too! Pionier 1907 Cinema offers screenings with English subtitles.
And the cherry on top is, the first in this academic year, Tandem Meeting is going to take place in the oldest cinema in Poland!
Date and time: 21 October at 4:45 p.m. (the movie starts).
The room is small for 40 seats only, the price 22pln/person.
We do not have any reservations, just buy a ticket and by filling the form let us know if you are with us.
Let’s meet on 21 October at 4:15 p.m. in front of the cinema.
